Dignified best describes feel of this vintage piece.  The ornate  motif exhibits a single flower on the front and back of  the gallery with surrounding foliage on the crown and shoulders. A symbol of growth and abundance the design adds to the elegance of the rare pristine green agate.

The classic set cabochon is translucent sea green with a bioluminescence that shimmers blue in the right light.

The elegance of the band emphasizes the pristine crowned cabochon, and the slight seam on one side and the HG  makers mark indicates it was made two centuries ago in 1858 or earlier.

Made in England, over its long life it resurfaced in the shade of Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Mosque. The 16th century Ottoman in Fatih district, Istanbul Turkey. The mosque commissioned by Sokollu Mehmed Pasha and his wife Ismihan Suultan, and designed by imperial architect Mimar Sinan, completed in 1571.

A ring with such history naturally has wear, however it's been well preserved and fit for a king.
